Take a Few Minutes to Learn the Basics of Batteries

He’s right, cheaper is not better and the warranty is everything. Batteries have a different life cycle depending on the area you live in . For instance batteries in Florida tend to have a shorter life.

Roadside Battery Service

If you think you have a battery problem your Roadside service provider should do a battery system check. That includes checking the battery, alternator and starter. The service provider should show you a printout of the test.

The Battery Dilemma

Scenario 1 : Battery is determined to be OK and jump start works
Scenario 2: Battery is determined to be defective and needs to be replaced. What can your service provider offer as alternatives? Can the Service Provider offer battery replacement?
Can the Service Provider offer a tow? Check and see what services your provider offers. Both of these conditions will cost you more time and your provider will charge another service on your account.
Scenario 3 : Your car seems to be having recent battery problems and the battery is older. Ask the provider if they have a battery replacement truck that would arrive with a replacement battery onboard.

Companies that have battery replace trucks do not offer the service in every area of the country.
